Help Build Community in Ontario! Pagan Pub Moot
(on-going & continuous) 8:00 p.m. Last Tuesday of Every Month

A "pagan pub moot" is a pagan meeting and gathering in an English style pub -- this is a nice neutral place to meet! New comers are more apt to feel more comfortable meeting for the first at such a place. We'll discuss all facets of pagan life styles, go on field trips, and maybe plan rituals and events outside of our pub. The common theme amoung most of us is that "we are very glad to have other like minded indiviuals to discuss a variety of topics with!" For more information contact Antoinette at email: scryingcrow@sympatico.ca . Meeting place: Winchester Arms Pub, 173 Dundas Street East, Belleville, Ontario, Canada.

MidAtlantic

Weekly Public Meditations - Landisville, PA
(on-going & continuous)

Tuesdays from 12 to 1. $6/per or $30 for 6. Classes at Maggie's Herb Basket in Landisville, Pennsylvania. Drop-in, guided meditations designed to facilitate an expanded sense of Self, deep awareness, unexpected healing, relaxation and grounding. No experience necessary.

Walking Wisdom - Lancaster, PA
(on-going & continuous)

Walking Wisdom's Lancaster Labyrinth is the Chartres Cathedral pattern, painted on canvas. Walks are held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 538 West Chestnut St., Lancaster, PA. Walking Wisdom also cares for a permanent 7-circuit labyrinth at the same U.U. church. This labyrinth is available for walking any time the church is open. Walking Wisdom will sponsor Labyrinth Journeys, open walks of the 7-circuit labyrinth, starting in September, the third Wednesday of each month from 7pm to 9pm. These walks will include short, informal discussions before and after the walks, and we will be experimenting with music, lighting, and themes as the wheel turns, and as we are moved. Each walk will be different. Bring a journal and join us! For more information contact: SARAHC405@aol.com

Reclaim the qualities of Sex, Pride, Self, Power and Passion. Call them back to you and claim them as your birthrights. Our culture has twisted these words: we, as Witches, know that we can use these words, they are sacred. They are the building blocks to becoming more human.

Using our magical skills, moving and shaping energy, transforming ourselves through trance to explore the five points of our inner pentacle: Sex (primal energy), Self, Passion, Pride (self-esteem), and Power (effectiveness in the worlds).

Reclaiming is a community of individuals working to unify spirit and politics. Our vision is rooted in the religion and magic of the Goddess, the Immanent Life Force. We see our work as teaching and making magic; the art of empowering ourselves and each other.

TEACHER's

Sif is a Reclaiming teacher and witch who loves earth-moving magic and songs offered in praise to the gods. She believes in the healing power of kisses and friends and finds great joy in dancing with the Fey in the moonlight.

SKathACH is a Reclaiming witch cleverly disguised as suburban mother of two. She is a priestess dedicated to the Goddess for ten years. She is a full-time graduate student. She facilitates a Children’s Circle and teaches classes on Tarot and Wicca.

Branwyn WhyteRaven is a Reclaiming witch, a writer, and a mother. She’s no spring chicken, so she feels one of the important things she brings to a circle is a reminder that, as Mae Westsaid, “You’re never too old to become younger.”

Note: We start class on time, so please be prompt. The classes are designed to work together, so plan to attend all.

Reclaiming 3 Rivers offers "Teaching Rituals."

These will be great times to ask questions, practice Reclaiming style magic in a small group, and learn to sense and move energy. These rituals will be held every other Thursday evening at Marjie’s house (phone or email for directions) at 7:30. First one on April 12th. Bring a pendulum.
Snacks to share are always welcome.

Pandora O'Mallory, one of the early members of the Reclaiming tradition, has been working in the tradition since 1981. She has taught classes, workshops, and intensives in the tradition at all levels, in San Francisco and Portland, and in England and Germany. For many years she taught regularly at the Vancouver Witch Camp, and will be teaching at the MidWest Witch Camp this year. She has been dedicated to the goddess Brigid for more than 16 years, though they have an open relationship. Lately, for instance, she been working intensively with Freyja, who has kicked her butt. She willing to pass the experience on, though. No, no. No thanks are necessary. Really.

Ongoing in California

Divination Workshop

This will be an ongoing weekly drop-in workshop, designed to experiment with and practice varying forms of divination. At least once a month will be devoted to the tarot, but any and all other tools and practices are encouraged. Beginner and adept both are welcome. Have you always wondered how to read someone s palm or do you just love that rose quartz sphere you bought, but have no idea how to use it for crystal gazing? Did you just buy the most beautiful tarot deck, but don t know a sword from a pentacle? Or, maybe you are an experienced diviner, but would like a space in which to play with different techniques and mediums, with others of like mind? Then, come, help to co-create sacred space, and play to your heart's content. There will be an emphasis on sharing power, and expertise, and having fun.

Call or email ahead for directions and divination tool du jour. Space is limited/work trade available.

Cost: Sliding scale, $10-$20

Envision it .... A library filled with books about Paganism and Magick!
New Alexandria Library and Resource Center - Minneapolis, Minnesota

With the intent to be a resource for Neo-Pagans worldwide, the New Alexandria Library and Resource Center holds more than 1500 books, several hundred periodicals, assorted video and audio tapes and a beautiful statue of Isis. The collection is growing every day, and includes first editions of Gardner and Murray to Pagan fiction (Terry Pratchett, anyone?) Our holdings include books on Paganism - paleo, meso and neo, Wicca, Goddess Studies, Mythology, Shamanism, Queer Spirituality, Divination, Thelema, and Magick.

The library is also the proud repository of two special collections: the Paul Tuitean Memorial Norse collection and the Steven W. Posch Semitica collection. We have what we hope will become the definitive collection of pagan periodicals, and, in addition, the ephemera of our community: festival brochures, ritual scripts, flyers announcing pagan events. We are staffed by volunteers, and depend entirely on contributions from the community to survive. To further this work of the Goddess, we urgently request your assistance. We welcome donations of books and other materials. (Please contact us first to avoid duplication.) Most of all, we need your generous financial support.

For more information contact us at New Alexandria Library and Resource Center, 3005 Oakland Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55407, phone 612-823-3673 (long distance calls returned collect), email us: paganlibrary@magusbooks.com or check our web page: http://www.magusbooks.com/newalexandria/
